Kokua Closet is open on Tuesdays. Since it is a volunteer led program we ask that you confirm an appointment time. If you would like to visit and receive items from Kokua Closet OR make a donation to Kokua Closet please call Destiny at HFLHI office at (808) 694-0000 and confirm an appointment time.


Kokua Closet is a partnership between Waipio Grace Bretheren Church Wahiawa and Harvest Family Life Ministries. We provide basic necessities at no cost for children who are currently and formerly in foster care. We also serve other vulnerable children and our families with the purpose of family preservation and strengthening.


Items We Carry and Donations We Accept
(Items are new or gently used)

  • Clothing and shoes for children/youth from ages newborn to Twenty-something
  • Diapers and wipes
  • Car Seats (less than 5 years old-manufacture date is usually on the bottom of seat)
  • Portable playpens, high chairs, strollers and other baby equipment
  • Baby towels, crib sheets, twin sheets and blankets
  • School supplies
  • Backpacks, baby bags, duffle bags and handbags
  • Educational books
  • Bibles and Bible Study materials
  • Personal hygiene products (NEW)
  • Toys
  • Maternity clothing
  • Accessories for hair, belts, scarves and jewelry
  • Cleaning and laundry supplies
